Where Science and Poetry Mingle

Robo

I, before, thought isolation was better than robot friend. And I, delusional, chewed a whole into my arm down to the bone, from drone boredom. I, now, have robot friend, sprockets, and oily tears.

I call my friend Robo, and he seems not to mind. And when I dance with Robo he seems not to mind. And when I yell at Robo he seems not to mind. And when I kill Robo he seems not to mind. And when I cry Robo also cries, but his are oily tears.

A Butler

We saw the jelly-roll fold,

of a random-walk butler,

peel open the skin

of this crowded place.

He allowed in some gentlemen; tall, with black caps.

about a place

This place has crept into my mind,

and slowly eats away at my brain-flesh,

like a low-dose electron beam.

This place has a culture of artifice,

with slippery people,

and their posture is maddening.

About a place, here,

it will drive any sane to insane.

Beyond this place there are only more,

and even further beyond, emptiness.

When and When

I thought about those cold days,

and those dark days.

When the sun stayed away,

and when ice covered my skin.

It may just be the brisk oceanic under-toe,

or the lamp-shade upon my head,

but I do miss all of my days;

even cold, even dark.

Dream of Death

I woke up today and realized I am not the same person as I was yesterday. And I wonder if I died yesterday during my dream. Was I was reborn into an old body, with old thoughts, and old habits this morning? I wonder if we die every time we dream; if we die every time we dream. And I wonder if we are simply reborn into an old body every morning, to occupy an abandoned life.

Fish-tank Woes

He stole my fish-tank cover, that rat ugly bastard. I spent days carving that thing from the finest plywood, and now it covers the toilet for a Mahoney look-a-like; I’m fucked.

Lips (I Will Have The Next One With Pepperoni On The Side)

Mmmm finger lickin’ good –

my friend, where did the wild blue jay go?

Into the drain?

Into the sky-drain?

-I sink from my floating-

Skin and butter in my brain.

Come over and play.

Come over and play.

Escape into Bombay, Bombaaaay!

Bombay,

Bombaaaaaaay!

Its all  ooo—ook.

Back in the daaaay

we used to get down that way,

and go back, deep, into Bombay.

Like a day owl,

flippin’ the bird

with a gray scowl.

We turned our cheeks,

and we turned our gears

to flee this fucked-up tuft of stuff.

Blue-Faced Outsider

A wild kid

with a blue face,

found his meat

and took off with a flash.

A blue streak,

and this kid

formed a rift,

in my time,

into my mind.

A rift,

he yelped with insanity

as he whizzed through this black void;

into another time,

into another mind,

where he will find his meat.

Am I Here?

You have no idea that I am here,

or why I am,

or why you are.

And if you want to figure this out someday

you should ask your Pa;

he is straight this way.

But you must know;

when you search for those that are not

here, you only find madness.

a black-tar scene

The scene felt

like black-tar oil

creeping from your pores,

stank and lethal.

It rolls and rolls

as black-tar tide;

 while whimpers

smear the lay

of your face.

magnets

I found you

and you found me;

our dipoles pulled us together

like magnets,

in the operating room.

Delirium

My words blur with thought,

and my days melt into nights

as my dreams are confused by reality.

A once steady state equilibrium

becomes a chaotic swirl,

and my mind has become a damp sponge;

porous, amorphous.

Full-Body Metallic Dispersions

I admire those with full body tattoos, because they must have very, very important messages to convey. So important, it seems, that words would not do justice, not even loud words; instead they opt to have a loud body. Their body screams: “look at me, I can irreversibly pour metallic dispersions under my skin, so you can see my important messages.”

Witchcraft-mediated Synthesis of Death-shaped Nanoparticles

Abstract:

     Spindly and death-shaped nanoparticles have received significant attention for their unique psychotropic and creepy properties, but most examples of such nanoparticles have a zero-dimensional shape. These nanoparticles are synthesized in the presence of liquefied evil, by a witchcraft-mediated approach. The extent of the death-shape can be varied, leading to shifts in the murderous-resonance of the particles. In addition, the application of the death spindles for murder and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy is demonstrated.
